We managed to build up the rest of the base last visit, and then fill ‘er up with spare rocks and gravel. Emi and I stopped by for a quick “hello” on our way to Guelph this past week.
So pretty! And the pizza oven, too. The bit in front is a taste of the mulch/patio stone area. the gravel is for a particularly low area.
My generous ‘rents also loaded me up with cabin goodies that we’ll bring next time: footstools for our fantabulous deck chairs, patio umbrellas, baby food jars to use as insulators for the pizza oven… And a big trip to the thrift store Talize in Kitchener resulted in a super fun, grass green (my favourite colour) fabric that I’ll likely use to make a cushion cover for the new day bed (below).
